The movie tells the private stories of children and their parents, as well as the history of the creation of the Special Olympics. The production of the film was handled by Studio Ostrov. Filming took place in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Ufa, Penza, Kostroma, Kazan, St. Petersburg and Moscow. The international premiere of the film took place in the documentary film competition of the 45th Moscow Film Festival.
