Call for Entries - 2024

Traditionally, the festival jury determines the winner in the following categories:
«Best Documentary Film», «Best Popular Science Film», «Best Fiction Film» and the Baikal Prize is awarded for the severity of the problem posed (awarded to a film about the most pressing environmental problems). A program of fulldome and animated films will also be presented. In addition, as usual, special prizes will be awarded: youth jury; Media communities; audience sympathy.

In 2024, the BMFF «People and Environment» will support regional development and the Ministry of Culture, as well as the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
The financial reward for the festival Grand Prix will be 500 thousand rubles (for russian bank account only).
