Results of the IV Baikal pitching of the best film projects have been announced.

Results of the IV Baikal pitching of the best film projects of Irkutsk region, Buryat Republic, Trans-Baikal krai, Krasnoyarskiy krai, Khakass Republic and other regions have been announced on the 25^th of September in Irkutsk within the framework of the 17^th Baikal International Film Festival  «People and Environment» n.a. V. G. Rasputin.

Money prizes were instituted by the President Grants Foundation and Irkutsk Regional Film Foundation with the support of the Ministry of culture and archives of Irkutsk region.

«Grand-Prix» was awarded to the project «National word. Valentin Rasputin», director Yulia Bivsheva. As a reward the money prize of 500 000 rubles was given to the winner.

In the «Documentary film» nomination the victory was gained by the project «Poacher hunters», director Anna Moiseenko. The winner was awarded with the money prize of 80 000 rubles.

In the «Feature film» nomination the victory was gained by the project «Landing approved», director Anastasia Zverkova. The winner was awarded with the money prize of 80 000 rubles.

Two certificates for the technical support of the projects for the amount of 50 000 rubles each were awarded to:

«About the formers», director Bayar Baradiev;

«Gaidai’s house», director Anastasia Zverkova. 

The head of the expert jury committee was Sergey Miroshnichenko -  President of the Festival, documentary films director, producer, teacher. Honoured Art Worker of Russia, Winner of two State awards of Russian Federation, member of the Russian Presidential Council on Arts and Culture, member of the Public Council of Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation, secretary of the Russian Filmmakers Union of documentary films, professor, head of the studio of non-feature films direction department in All-Russian State Film Institute, member of the National Academy of Film Arts and Sciences of Russia, member of Russian Television Academy «TEFI», head of the studio «Ostrov». 

Expert jury committee consisted of:

Elena Alferova – documentary films director, member of the selection committee at the film festival «Luchezarniy Angel» and «Svidanie s Rossiei», teacher in film and television school «Aurum», Moscow.

Olga Belskaya — Vice-President of the Festival «People and Environment», Head of the Irkutsk Regional Branch of the Filmmakers Union of Russia, journalist, author and director of documentary films, associate professor of the advertisement and journalism department of IRNITU.

Natalia Gugueva– head of the jury of the Film Festival «People and Environment» in 2018, documentary films director, scriptwriter, producer, lead director of the documentary films Direction JSC «First Channel», Moscow.

Andrey Salnikov – General Director of the Film Festival «People and Environment», Head of Irkutsk Regional Film Foundation.

Nikolay Larionov – producer of film company «Mars Media», Moscow.

Vadim Potapov – head of the financial-production department of Film Foundation, Moscow.

Dmitry Yakunin – director of the Russian Filmmakers Union Youth Center, executive director of the All-Russian Debutants Pitching, producer, member of the expert committee of Ministry of Culture of RF, Moscow.
