A new documentary project of the People and Environment Festival jury member received state financial support.

Yulia Kiseleva's film Chip Inside Me won a grant from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The film is scheduled for release in 2022.

The special project was one of 32 applicants for the subsidy in its category. The expert board on non-fiction films includes 35 filmmakers, including Natalia Gugueva and Vladimir Eisner.

Popular science film by Yulia Kiseleva tells about real people who took part in a microchip implants experiment. The film will answer an exciting question about mass chipping, tell about the technology that opens up many opportunities, but makes one give serious thought to human freedom and many other ethical issues. «This will be a large-scale project using graphics, auteur animation and original music,» the director says about the forthcoming work on the film.

   

Let us recall that the director, screenwriter, and producer of the documentary film Yulia Kiseleva will be one of the members of the expert jury of the 19 Baikal Film Festival n.a. V. Rasputin. Also, on September 27, the author of numerous documentary projects will hold a master class at the Festival dedicated to seeking funding for a documentary.
