Zambezia is one of the poorest regions and at the same time the most populous of Mozambique, where the life expectancy is just 35 years. Here two Mozambican women are fighting without weapons parading toward their rice fields every morning. You will see how they live, what they think, what they hide and what they invent every day to survive in a society that continues to discriminate them, in various forms and various aspects.

ProduzioniYPico is a young and dynamic video production company based in Italy, founded in 2013 by Elisa Bucchi and Nicola Bogo. The company is a multimedia video farm and the main focus is the direction, production and post-production of documentary films on people, social theme, human rights. ProduzioniYPico produces also educational projects, visual material of various kind and works with not for profit organisations and NGO of international cooperation, developing documentaries and reportage. The goal of the documentaries is to engage, excite and move something in the minds, listening and not judging, tell the story and the public is going to form an opinion. The story becomes the protagonist, a tool to tell the universality of a theme described with simplicity, letting people talk, the protagonists of the stories. We believe in the magic of storytelling through images.
