Galina Afanasieva-Medvedeva has been conducting ethnography research expeditions in the remote places in Siberia for the last 30 years. It is hard to find another person, who knows Siberian village's way of life better than she knows. Сenturies-old image of village is vanishing now, but it is possible to peer through the faces and souls of those who carried historical age through their life. So, this way Galina collects the crambs of memories of the whole country.
DIRECTOR: YULIYA BYIVSHEVA
Yulia Byvsheva was born in 1987 in Chitinsky region, Russia. She lived in Tula since 1991, then in 1999 she moved to Neryungri, Yakutia. She graduated from Neryungri College of Arts with degree in correctional pedagogics. In 2013 she graduated from VGIK, course by S. Miroshnichenko. She is a director of East-Siberian support fund of cinematography, a member of guild of non-fiction cinema and television.
