This is story about Russian volunteers from firefighters detachment. This film is the search for an answer to the question: Where do people get strength to fight the fire which couldn’t ever be extinguished?
In Russia wildfires happen every year that is why it is impossible to extinguish them once and for all - this is war that is never finished. Why do people in Russia burn the grass every year? What awful aftermaths does it cause? Is it possible to solve the problem? What are volunteers' strengths and what is their weakness?
This movie was shot solely on money donated by future audience. It is a sample of successful and very effective crowdfunding campaign. According to Russian portal “The greenhouse of social technologies” this project is in the top ten best social campaigns of 2014.
