Uncle Sasha dreams of monarchism revival. He believes in the true wisdom of the Russian way of life, which is forgotten and trampled by modernization and European influence. He creates his utopia in a desolate village surrounded by water. Every spring he builds a bridge that is smashed by ice every winter. Currently, Uncle Sasha builds his thirteenth bridge.

Tatyana Soboleva

Born in Moscow. In 2004 graduated from Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK). In succeeding years she's made several short documentaries that successfully participated in Russians and International film festivals and deserved different prizes. In 2010-2015 Tatyana participated in number of International Documentary Workshops and Pitching sessions. In 2014 she co-founded production company FILMSTART. Since 2015 she is a programmer of DOKer IFF. In 2017 Tatyana became a participant of «BERLINALE TALENTS».
