The unique Karadag wildlife sanctuary is a volcanic massif, the only extinguished volcano in Europe of the Jurassic period, the Mesozoic. It’s not only volcanic craters and fantastic buttes, but forests and rocky steppes, rare birds and fish, which are called cyborgs. The Karadag sanctuary is not just variety of nature, but also the unusual history of the place.

Boris Dedenev

Boris Dedenev graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Theater of Music and Cinematography
with a degree in TV and Documentary Film Directing in 1987. He worked first as an assistant,
and then as a cameraman and director of photography at the Leningrad television (now 5TV)
from 1980 to 1989. Boris took part in the production of “Musical Ring”, “Chimes”, “Public
Opinion” TV-shows as a film director and director of photography during his work on the
channel.
From 1989 to 1993, he worked for NEVA TV, the country's first independent TV company, as a
cinematographer of 24-hour telethons dedicated to the Chernobyl disaster, children, and culture.
He has been the artistic director of the D-Square Studio from 1993 to this day.
During the existence of the D-Square Studio more than a hundred music videos were shot for
Russian musicians: “Autumn” by DDT, “On the Shore” by Nautilus-Pompilius, videos for Pavel
Kashin, Alyona Apina, Professor Lebedinsky, Korol i Shut, Tatyana Ovsienko, and many others.
About a hundred music videos were created for foreign musicians (5 awards of the Mexican
National Academy of Music).
He was the chief director of the Saint Petersburg TV Channel from 2010 to 2012.
