Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese is a self-taught director from Lesotho living in Berlin. His short films Mosonngoa (2014) and Behemoth – or The Game of God (2015) were presented at numerous film festivals, including the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, Raindance International Film Festival, Kinodot Film Festival, the Festival of African Cinema, Asia and Latin America, the Durban International Film Festival, as well as the L'étrange Festival.
The first full-length work Mother, I'm Suffocating. This is My Last Film about You (2019) won six awards at the Final Cut in Venice seminar and was shown at the 2019th Berlin International Film Festival.
Mosese is a graduate of many programs, including Focus Features’ Africa First program and The Cinefondation's L'Atelier. In 2020, he was a member of the jury of the short film competition of the 70th Berlin International Film Festival, and the Locarno Film Festival.
