Call for Entries for the 20th Baikal International Film Festival People and Environment is open

Begins accepting applications for participation in the 20th Baikal International Film Festival  «People and Environment».

Submissions for the 20^th anniversary edition are accepted from February 05 to April 20, 2021. The participants will be announced in June, and the Festival itself will be held in Irkutsk from 23 to 27 September. The regulations and submission form are on the Festival website.

The entries will be evaluated by an international jury, which will determine the winners in the following categories: Best Documentary Film, Best Feature Film, Best Popular Science Film, and Best Animated Film. There will also be the special Baikal Prize, which is awarded to a project on the most pressing environmental problems. The financial reward for the Grand Prix winner will be 300,000 rubles.

In addition, the Festival program provides special prizes: the Youth Jury, the Mass Media Jury, and Audience awards.
